Happy 4th of July weekend everyone, I have an annoying (and probably really basic) problem thats sort of throwing me for a loop.
I went to install my Morimoto XB headlights on my '23 TRDOR today (I originally had them on my '18, but why i'm swapping is a story for a different day..). I got the driver side on and was testing the lights before moving to the passenger and the lo and hi beams didn't work, all others did. I tried flipping the connectors in case they were upside down, and still no joy. So I went ahead and put the stock headlight back on and the lo and hi beams still didn't work. This whole time, the passenger side lights are doing fine. Thinking I blew the fuses, I checked all of them and they are good.
I've seen the wiring diagram for the lights, so I can't see it as a relay issue since passenger lights are good. Did I really somehow mess up my connector just by pulling it out of headlight? I swear I didn't pull from the wires or anything like that haha, definitely from the plastic piece. Are there any other T/S I can do? Thanks everyone.

Use a DVM to verify power at the connector.

Assuming there is none, you have to work upstream till there is.

Assuming there is power, the fixture would seem to be the problem.

thanks. that's what i'm doing. Connectors (lo and hi) show 0V while the fuses show a whopping 0.03V. I know not at lot, but still something greater than 0; passenger fuses read ~12.3V. Does this narrow it down to a wiring issue between the fuses and connector? I didn't touch anything between fuses and relay, and with passenger reading normal that seems to be the only thing that makes sense in my head.

I have the same problem. I tried to install some XB Morimoto headlights but had 3 extra connectors available on the Morimoto lights- I noticed no low beam or high beam on either side. I installed my factory lights and now have the same problem.. my low beams don’t work but my high beams do… relay is good for the low but I’m not getting power to the fuse box where that relay goes.. did you ever figure out your issue??

When you say you're seeing 0.03 volts at the fuse, how are you measuring it? Are you going from one side of the fuse with one probe and the other side with the other probe? Are you going across the terminals with the fuse removed? Do you have continuity across the fuse?
