I'm not familiar with it, I do know that the original producer of the 1st gen radiators (Harrison) no longer makes radiators at all so it wouldn't surprise me if toyota sources from other companies now to sell at the parts counter.

Well if they are new then should be okay. Unless the retainer ring was improperly installed. Which is common to have happen by shops.

So you're saying buying the ~$90ish dollar Denso on RA is probably wiser than the $200ish Denso from the parts counter

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Hell... I put what ever they had at AutoZone in mine 4 years ago. It's still fine. It's actually better than the original ever was.

I think you're over thinking it.

Could be but seemed worth thinking about. Autozone wants $183 after 20% off for their Duralast 1" core.

Looks like the DENSO 2213138 from RA with 1.25" core is not $90 but $127.79 and about $135.40 shipped even with a 5% discount code.

The Toyota MVP 16410-AZ025 are $217.77 MSRP but looks like it would be < $123 from Serra Toyota during the 20% off sale through today at Serra Toyota ... also offering free shipping.

Toy parts was nice enough to pull one of the MVPs out of the box and said it was marked Denso made in Taiwan.

Perhaps I’m wrong but I thought I read that Denso rads were being made in Mexico now? Is that what we’re talking about?

Didn't care how much it cost. I had a leaking radiator and had to be at work on Monday.

No grille progress but the 'hidden' winch mount from ampdup and the Superwinch Talon 9500 are on the truck. Still need to do the endplate mod and tap one of the other hidden frame nuts but its in place and all the bumper cutting is done.
    IMG_9616.jpg
Can you void a warranty that doesnt exist? Had to remove the corner 'brace' in order to fit the Talon, its looong. Should be fine, might die, time will tell. Theres a variation of this mounting plate for a different model that survives on 4 bolts from underneath, so thats a good sign.

looks like your rear suspension is doing an admirable job with the weight, how much of a difference was there between the two setups?

Are you happy with the current suspension?

When there isn't anything back there it's fine, but once I'm loaded up for camping it's not the best. I think maybe 500 more when all said and done. 2 of the biggest things of need going forward are a new custom leaf pack and a re-gear (which has been on the list for a minute but this has now been pushed up the list).
