 West-central Illinois here. Would love to move out of Illinois but, don’t want to give up some of the best deer hunting in the country.

Absolutely.... I have always wanted to hunt Illinois but love living in OK... great hunting too. I hunt close to KS border so solid amount of good bucks. Have found some big sheds too over the years. I am pretty low key hunter, just enjoy being out. Have shot a couple good bucks but don't hang my hat on having to get a big one every year.

I am a novice at best with trap... mostly casual with friends. A lot of good times.
