Looking to add Apple CarPlay to my 2018 Taco TRD Sport. Would prefer to keep the original Radio & OEM look. I found this Wireless upgrade from CarSyncTech on Amazon (trying to add Amazon link below, first time posting, so not sure if it will work. Only has 18 reviews, but all positive. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Just installed this past weekend. Been OK so far. Couple things I find annoying is the volume, doesn't show when changed in the Carplay screen, and picture is a bit washed out compared to another Toyota that I have that came with Carplay, and I can't adjust it. Overall though, it works as intended.

Thanks! Other than maintaining OEM look, also wanted all the buttons/functions to remain the same. The picture being washed out a bit isn't too much of a concern for me.
@ERod27, I actually saw the instructions in the link you shared in one of the customer reviews on Amazon & was pretty impressed with them.

I'm probably gonna wait until Prime Day to see if I can get it a little cheaper and order it. I'll tag all the cables in the harness- worst case scenario I guess would be I uninstall and return it. Thanks everyone

It’s been worth the money I paid for it. Installation isn’t difficult just make sure you tag everything. If you decide to keep the Xm module you’ll have to tinker with it. Some have it on top of the car play orders have it underneath. My original NAV doesn’t work but I don’t care cause I can use Apple, Google, or Waze without issue.

Yeppers- I'm not gonna keep the XM module. Another reason i want to add CarPlay is b/c of the Entunes navigation- I updated the map when I got it back in October but it's still out of date, and I use Waze anyway.

I just hate how Waze doesn’t stop whatever audio one is listening to. If I’m listening to a book and the directions come on over it I’ll have to go back to and see what I missed lol.
