I've been trying to figure this out. Obviously Toyota contracted with someone to make them. I noticed they look a lot like the Amsoil filters -- but it turns out Amsoil also contracts with some third party for their filters. Does anyone know who it is? Wix?

Last I knew, Champion labs makes Amsoil and Royal Purple which are identical to the TRD filter except a different color o ring.

dd light bars, trd cat back exhaust, KDMax tuned, trd skid plate, 2" lift, sema wheels toyo open country at3 tires.
Add VP Racing to the list of the same filter, with different color o-ring. Champion Labs list 2 different filters, P967, and P967XL, the photos show the same filter, neither look like the TRD filter. Not sure if we can get them direct. I have 1 more TRD and I am out. Ski

I ordered a few of the amsoil filters after using up my last few trd in the stockpile. I ended up returning them, the quality was inferior to the trd filters I had, and the amsoil filters aren't cheap. Rusty metal caps, excess glue dripping from under the caps, loose threads in the seams, etc.

The amsoil filters were also made in a different country than the trds I had.

I'll probably try the RP on the next oil change.
