Hey guys. Anyone encounter trying to change or fix front actuator with a Fabtech lift.
The front crossmember has a guard plate fully covering the actuator. I can see it but def can’t get to those 3 bolts.
I’m fearing I have to take off all front crossmember parts just to get at the actuator.
    Hope someone has encountered this.
I’ve spoken with Fabtech head office and they have never heard of anyone having this issue and didn’t give me any solid advice.

    Take the plate off?
Or is that a bigger task than it looks like to get off?

Wish it was that easy. The plate is welded to the front crossmember.

Hate to say, you might have to remove crossmember, or drop front diff.

Yeah, I think you are right. Not to confident on using angle grinder to cut off plate and re-weld. Thanks for the replies
