I’ve been running these on my truck for 2 weeks. Old man emu 886 coils, 5100’s, and UCA’s. Caster set at 3.5. No rubbing.

Hey team! I'm coming from 265/70/17 KO2 and am looking at doing the 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks. Duh. Wouldn't be here if I wasn't. I'm running the Icon Stage 2 suspension kit set at about 2" lift and running the Konig Countersteer Type X with -10 offset. Curious what your thoughts are on potential rubbing (guess it will be fine, but maybe that offset effects something I don't know about) and adding 45.6lbs of total tire on the vehicle. As another member mentioned, I'm surprised at the weight from a C-Class tire, however, it is 275 instead of 265 so some additional weight should be anticipated. Anyway, just curious what you think. Sorry to beat a dead horse.

Any chance you've got any pics with the lift? And which lift did you do? Thanks so much!

I believe the falkens are .1 or .2 of an inch larger than the KO’s due to additional tread depth (which also gives them a 55k mileage rating I believe). I do get more rubbing than the worn down KO’s that came on the truck when I bought it but I did have a light front end collision that has been repaired so I guess there’s a small possibility my wheel well gaps could still be off by another .1 or so.

Here’s mine with the Eibach pro lift. Falken’s are on -12 offset wheels. Just barely rubs on the bottom of the fender flare in the front. Not even close to hitting the cab mount.

So you have the 275/70r17 also? I’m wondering if for me it’s because I’m using method 703 that have a 4.75 backspacing ?

Reviving an old thread! Ordered a set of 275/70/17 falkin wildpeaks on relation race wheels rr6-h, 0 offset. In the process of getting an Eibach Stage 2 lift (2” on the front coilovers) put on. Planning to get them put on this week but after comparing them side by side with the existing SR5 wheel and 245’s, looks pretty tight with the UCA. Will post an update on the results. Might have to invest in some spacers

You won’t rub. I have the exact same setup but with -12 offset and a buddy of mine has the same setup your going with. Neither of us had any issues. We both have the Eibach kit as well.E9CA80A0-403D-46A2-96AB-A14E4043960D.jpg

I love the tires and that size looks great. It's what I really want, but the weight seems like an insane jump from stock. Wheels aside the tires alone are approximately 22# more.

What is your experience with fuel mileage, power loss, or any other factors with this size & weight change?

2.5 inch front 1.5 inch rear. ICON 2.5 VS IR front coilover kit. ICON uniball tubular UCA . ICON rxt leaf pack.
I have these tires with Fuel Shok wheels. I average about 17 mpg combined. I was getting about 19 with my stock setup. Power loss is pretty significant for me. Makes gear hunting worse especially at high speeds. I'm really considering regearing. I took a 300 mile trip from Utah to Idaho (some hills to climb but for the most about 60-70% flat) and I only got about 15-16 going 86-88. Can get about 18 mph right at 70 mph in Utah. But it really depends how you drive it. I try to baby it as much as possible to get the best mpg. But I absolutely don't regret it! As long as you know what you're getting into.
