Do you prefer a 17x7 wheel or 16x8.5? What's the weight and price difference and does that matter to you?

edit: less tire options in the 16" size. I'd opt for 17" whichever you choose.

I did notice that about tires. Thanks for the reminder.

I’m partial to the methods. I went with the 701’s in bronze for my Lunar rock taco and love the look. At first I thought it may have looked a little loud but it has grown on me. Plus you get the bead grip tech if you’re going to be wheeling it. The SEMA wheels are cool too, you can’t go wrong with either. I just think there are pros to the methods. I agree with the other user above, I would go with the 17’s for more tire choices. Just my two cents

Thanks- I am currently leaning towards the Methods too, but I believe I’m going to stick with 16’s. Hunting for tires, I haven’t found a tire that I want that isn’t available in 16.

I rock the 703’s on my 4Runner but in 17’s. You may not worry about finding tires for 16’s now but they become harder when you go up in size.

ThankYou- I don’t have any plans to go any bigger than 265/75-16.
