Gonna be replacing my drive belt soon. Rockauto is recommending to replace tensioner also and my father in law who’s worked on cars his whole life said to replace all of the pulleys as well.
should I be replacing the pulleys and tensioner for this job as well? Or will the belt only suffice?

The 4.0 was known for this, but the 3.5 not so much.

Replace the belt and check all the pulleys while its off.

Bull bar with lights, Wheels on stock tires, window vents.
I replaced my belt at 100K for no reason other than piece of mind, No other issues so I think check the pulleys and go from there.

Personally I would just inspect and repair if necessary. If changing them out gives you peace of mind then go for it.
