    Hello,

I have owned this tonneau cover for about 4 years now and I had a difficult experience dealing with customer support from AgriCover.

The seals between each panel are not user serviceable. They are expecting you to purchase a whole new cover as it is considered disposable. The product is nice but spending $1200 every 4 years is a huge waste. Unfortunately, my warranty is expired which is fine but I was not expecting a replacement, I just want to repair the product. It is a shame that we are expected to throw it away over seals that cost a few dollars.

If anyone has any recommendations on how to repair it please let me know.

Thank you for posting your experience.

This is advantageous for me to know about as I was just starting contact with TruckAlter to see about replacing my 2016 OEM tonneau that has torn, gooey, leaky seam seals with a Lomax... But if the Lomax and it's seals are only good for about 4 years, I may have to rethink purchasing it and instead just remove and replace the seals on what I already have and refurbish the ol' hot tub cover.

The response from their warranty department I found to be distasteful. I really rather not get into that here but I am truly frustrated at spending hundreds of dollars on a now deteriorated tonneau cover. If I cannot repair it myself I need to find a good product that is repairable. If anyone has recommendations it would be appreciated.

Just know that the OEM tonneau's seals turn to goo after about the same amount of time and it leaks from all over in the rain or car wash.

The only waterproof way is the Stockland fiberglass lid made circa 1998... Or get a minivan.

Need more info on your use case.

What kind of climate? Is the vehicle garaged? How often are you flipping the cover up and down?

Not to discredit your experience, but I have read nothing but good things about the Lomax on here - myself included.

4 years on a cover that is still relatively “usable” is not awful. Disappointing? Sure. But if you live in a hot area, don’t garage the vehicle, something along those lines, 4 years out of the cover is within the reasonable realm.
