I took the main roads to work- state Rt 3. Culverts and paved breakdown lanes all washed out on the north bound side. Down to one lane for approx 1 -1.5 miles. Water flowing over the road in another section with just a warning sign. The road’s too important to close completely.

 

Pulled off at the local store that I pass everyday and got a few pics this morning.

 

I had the square out yesterday and did a little welding, got ready to go in the house and Macy thought it was a good place for a nap, this was after her nap on the work bench.

 

Walked down to see what the kids were doing in the edge of the woods and had a pretty sunset. We are so blessed to live where we do now.

 

My mind instantly went to: "Kids in the back seat cause accidents. Accidents in the back seat cause kids."

Put some tape on the floor in any size square or rectangle and the cat will sit in it

 

Pretty sure it is, I didn't look at it close. I think there is a Vega station wagon there as well. There are about 10 cars there, all look like the ones pictured. 3 or 4 sitting around the gas pumps.

 

Friend brought this by and ask if I could get the broke bolt out, oh and there's an easy out broke off in the bolt that wasn't drilled in the center and he melted it with his torch.





Thankful to be able to call this one a win.

 

I'll get the kids to do that, they'll think it's fun and I bet she will sit or lay in it thinking it's a box

Had an odd encounter this morning.

Older man stopped by. Commented that I like 1st gen Tacoma's. I have 2 in the front garage, so they can be seen when the overhead door is open.

He told me he had a 2003 TRD 4 door for sale. Rotted frame. Wants $1000 for the thing. I almost bought it just for the locker in the rear axle.

This is the 4th time people have cold stopped in and asked if I wanted to sell or buy Tacoma parts.

Just seems odd to me.
