2024 Toyota Tacoma 4th Gen TPMS

Discount tire installed new TPMS in my new wheels. They could not get them to sync using there TPMS reader programmer. I tried using the method shown in owners manual pages 535 to 548 with no success. Then Discount Tire cloned my original TPMS from my original wheels and had no success. Also I tried the owners manual method again no success. Then while stopped at a Red traffic light I tried resetting to a new set of wheels. The red light changed as soon as I pushed reset and while the TPMS light was still blinking I started driving and it immediately recognized the new set of wheels with the new TPMS. Not sure why it worked this way, but hopefully it helps you all out that are putting aftermarket rims and tires on your vehicle with aftermarket Tire pressure monitor sensors. Here is a copy of my receipt so you in case you need some.
