1996 Tacoma LX Ext cab 4x4 LOW MILES! SOLD

Selling my beloved 1996 Tacoma LX Ext cab 4x4 3.4 V6 automatic with an amazingly low 76,836 miles! This truck was built 9/1995 and sold new to my neighbors 12/1995 at Toyota Knoxville. I purchased it from them 4/2019 and it has been babied and garage kept by me.

The good: this truck needs nothing. There is no frame rust! It was sold and resided in West Knoxville it’s whole life, never having been out of the state of Tennessee to my knowledge. All maintenance needed on a 1st Gen Tacoma 3.4 V6 has been done. This includes valve cover gaskets, timing belt/water pump kit, lower ball joints, and all fluids replaced. Plus this truck rides on a low mileage set of Michelin tires with new brake pads and turned rotors. The battery has been replaced recently and I have replaced most all of the exterior bulbs on it. The seats are not ripped (the is a small place on the side of passenger front seat) and the carpet is not worn. It even has the sought after factory rubber floor mats for the front which are still in perfect shape. The original radio works great and the tape player even works. It does not smoke, leak or use oil. As far as I know it does not leak any water in the cab, but I rarely if ever drive it in the rain and have kept it in the garage since I’ve owned it.

The bad: I was rear ended by a hit and run driver in March 2021. The truck stayed at the body shop until 8/7/21. They replaced the bed and tailgate from a front wrecked 1996 Tacoma. The left rear taillight and rear bumper were aftermarket replacements. The truck was completely repainted in the original Cobalt Blue Metallic, the original decals were sourced for the tailgate and the original door emblems and door belt moldings were replaced. The title was not branded and I have a clean and clear Tennessee title. There was no frame work done. I had the body shop repaint the frame and everything on the underside of the bed while the bed was off. Vin is 4TAWN72N2TZ091362

I can’t think of anything else. Original 15x6 steel wheels and centers were powder coated and will convey to new owner. I was planning to keep this truck forever but I have bought another 2nd Gen Tacoma and it’s time to pass this pristine low mileage 1st Gen to a new owner.
