Is there a way or a mod to be able to lower the windows before getting in the truck?

It’s been a hot summer! :bananadead:

Why not just install remote start and run the AC before you get in?

That would actually be a good mod. Open windows (driver or driver + passenger) to let out some of the hot air. Don't have to start then open door and have to re-start. My Corvette has it as an aftermarket mod. Can open window(s) and also close them with factory fob. Use it all the time.

Not sure about a truck mod, but I’m aware of a human mod. Open the door, put the key in the ignition, turn it to on, push window button.

None of my Toyota's have supported this feature.. I have wished all of them did.

FWIW it's not an option in TechStream either.

At least N2 is supposed to be releasing a remote start that bypasses the shutoff when the door is opened, but we'll see if it comes out and actually works as advertised.

Get a set of those AVS in-channel window vent visors. They let you vent one or all four windows about an inch with no worries about rain getting in. Very cheap and functional mod that actually looks good on these trucks.

my 2003, 2006 honda accords did that click the unlock button then hold windows would all lower and my moon roof would open too, or stick the key in the door and then unlock, and then back to middle and then hold the unlock side of the key they would roll down, was the best feature!

Honda has a lot of good ideas and includes many things on their products as standard that Toyota does not even have available.

light high reving, decently powered engines that also get great gas mileage. and 4 wheel disc brakes on most of the vehicles they make.

and honda never made me down load a stupid app just to link my phone to the radio! ENTUNE was crap

My wife's VW has the option too. You have to turn it on with VagCom but you can roll all 4 windows down with the fob. I turned it on and used it a couple of times more to show it off than anything. After the initial "new buy" sensation was over, I haven't used it since, ha.

I just leave my windows cracked if i'm parked in the sun with my windshield shade up.
If i'm parked in the shade or under a cover, the temp inside my truck is about the same temp as the outside air, putting the windows down doesn't make a difference, i need to run the AC.

Open the doors? Been doing that ever since my first car, and works much better than just the windows being opened.

Good luck getting what you order, or what you order actually working, or getting your money back when neither of those happen.

What's more interesting is that anyone would risk giving that broad a dime of their hard earned money and hoping she doesn't send you garbage or just take your money and never send you anything at all.
