Can I fit mountain bikes on a cab roof rack with Leer 180 topper?

2019 White Tacoma TRD OR DCLB

I'm about to get a Leer 180 topper for my 2019 DCLB. I'm trying to figure out the best option for a bike rack and trying to avoid a hitch mounted rack. I'm thinking I might get a roof rack over the cab and try to fit my mountain bikes above the cab but not sure if that will work with the Leer 180 since it's raised above the cab. Has anyone had success with this type of setup? I don't really want to put the bike rack on top of the Leer 180 as I think it would be excessively tall with bikes... thanks in advance for any advice/insight!
