Hey everyone! Just recently bought a 2023 TRD Sport 4x4. It has 20k miles.

I'm looking into getting a new lift kit.
I'm not trying to break the bank, but I would like something with good quality. Looking for a 2.5-3 inch lift. I was looking at the Bilstein 6112 (front) and 5160 rear Shocks and the OME 3 inch Lift Kit. Would love to hear any recommendations you guys have.

Also, any advice or recommendations you might have for a new tacoma owner like myself would be great!

At 3" you're likely going to need UCA if you want to stay within a decent alignment.
You might also need the ECGS bushing at some point.

I'd stick to 2.5" or less.

You would be very happy with Bilstein 5100's front and rear. I live on a bumpy dirt road and can cruise over it very comfortably and it stays compliant over relatively high speeds and I find the ride comfortable set to 1.55" lift in the front with the OEM rear blocks. No messing with UCA's and no ECGS bushing. Everything's been fine.

Another vote for a 5100 set up. Affordable, capable and Bilstein quality.

Let's start on point one. How will the truck be used? Street? Occasional fire road? The odd trail day? Will it be lift and done or looking to add more mods that will crank up the weight down the road?
Honestly I'm under to opinion that lifts are over rated that's coming from someone with a lifted truck.
There's alot more that goes into them and at 3" you best be slapping on a 285 atleast so it looks almost proportionate.
As stated a uca, clamshell bushing, tapered leaf shims carrier bearing spacers are all items to consider to help manage potential vibrations.
My opinion do wheels with a more aggressive offset and one size bigger tire. It'll beef up the look substantially with virtually no notable drawbacks compared to lifting.

Here’s a vote for the Eibach pro truck 2.0 kit with the resis and a 1.5 AAL. Set at 2 inches of lift and you’ll have no troubles with the stock UCAs or alignment. Good daily setup and eats the bumps off-road.

Appreciate the info. Looking to adding a bumper in front (CALI RAISED STEALTH FRONT BUMPER) and a rear bumper as well. not too much off roading. just the casual trail day. Not an everyday thing. Looking to add 33's to Black Rhino 16' ATLAS wheels with an off set.

Thanks guys! really appreciate it. I have Bilstein in my 2013 Tundra with airbags in the back. Do I have to get UCA on a 2.5" lift? Do you guys recommend another leaf as well if im getting the upgraded bumpers?

Haha if I had the cash, I definitely would go all out. Just watched a video of the Tacoma Beast in Baja with the LS2 Swap and king shocks, that thing is sexy.

Bit more spendy but check out greenlane offroad stump bumper. 35lbs aluminum no rust and some of the nicest lines of the sump bumpers.
If you want 33's with anything over a 0 offset be ready to have a cab mount chop done. Based the picture you posted that wheel looks to be a -38 and possibly on 35's.

    That's a 285/70r17 on a 17x9 +1 2.5" front lift 1.5ish" rear dirt king uca no cmc

295/70r17 17x9 -38 2.5 front 2.5 rear dirt king uca cmc and pinchweld fold.

Thank you! Really though best bang for your buck is the Bilstein 5100 set up. My brother installed them on his about a month ago and loves them.
