I'm looking to swap out the OEM roof rack I have on my truck for the OEM drip molding. I've found a listing for a set off of a 2023 double-cab, but am concerned about compatibility with my 2019 TRD Pro. The bit of research I've done shows the part number of the one I need 75552-04081 vs. the 2023 mode 75552-04082. They're both 3rd Gen. so is that last digit really significant? Anyone run into a situation like this before?

Interested in this as well as Toyota has officially discontinued the 75551-04081 and part 75552-04081

I just went through this same thing in May for my 2019 TRD Pro, Yes they are the same thing and compatible. 75551/2 for left and right and the last number is just the new version. I called my local Toyota Dealership and they were delivered the next day. Think it ran me about $220.

You will need to seal the drill holes from your rack, I used a sealant and some additional glue/double sided tape to keep the molding down. Other than that super easy process.

An update on this. I took one for the team and ordered both parts. Everything fits EXCEPT the clip tabs. Therefore is not 100% compatible. You still have to replace the clips. I need to use some kind of glue or something to hold it down.

The clip tabs you’re referring to are near the front of the truck, correct? Not those two smaller pieces that bend down towards the bed on the rear? Just want to be sure as I’ve got someone local selling a pare and would like to know what I’m looking for to verify before purchasing. Thanks!

Correct. It’s the plastic piece that locks the molding in the front. It’s a whole different pattern.
