The Bell housing on my 2007 6speed manual will not come all the way out. Not sure if it's hung up on locator pin? If these have one. I count nine bolt's I removed from bell housing 2 for the starter. Am I missing a bolt? All the way around the bell housing we've gotten a 1/4 inch gap with the exception of the upper Left hand side. "Right hand if looking up from ground". Any suggestions??

Working on mine right now too. Just get a pry bar in there and pry it apart.
I jacked mine up a little to high and the shifter port got stuck in the hole in the floor board. Felt stuck.
If a bolt was still in their it wouldn't separate at all.

Looks like you have all nine mounting bolts and the two bolts for the starter out.

Probably just cocked a bit on a locating pin.

Exactly. These transmission's are a bitch! My 86 was a breeze.

It amazed me how the difference of a degree or two with the jack (a tranny jack is sooo nice) makes all the difference in removing (and installing) the tranny. Very little if any prying is necessary if you take your time finding the right angle.
