I used to carry two drums of JetA in my 2nd Gen 6sp, tried three drums a couple of times but knew that wasn't a good plan (6cyl, 4L, OME 886, Dakar HD). It was 50km down an FSR.

I regularly carried 3 drums of diesel, 2 100lb butane and a 1 week grocery order for a 15 man camp in my stock 4cyl diesel '97 Hilux. Camp was 125km in the jungle of Central America.
