    Yeah my 2015’s plastic parts are definitely painted, there’s a rock chip on one fender flare. I’m not assuming later gens are that way because mine is, but it seems like colorized plastic would be difficult to color match. Even if it was colorized plastic (is that a term?), it’s more expensive to mass produce pieces with several different colors than to mass produce black ones.

    Yeah my 23 OR is painted plastic up front too. The paint seems pretty thick though. On another note, surprised to see it rained last night in SoCal in July.
