DIY LCA Bushing Removal and Replacement 2005+ Tacoma (4x4) The Easy Way!

    Reviving an old, but relevant, thread...

    I am rebuilding the original LCAs on my 2015 (with 100,000+ miles on them), and popped out the bushings yesterday. I must say, it was significantly easier than I anticipated.

    The bushings on the first arm popped out with only pressure from the jack - both popped at the same time. :eek: (Do wear safety glasses, and don't put your face too close to the bushings. I did not, but would have preferred to be a little farther away.)

    The bushings on the second arm took heat to release - about a minute each.

    All in all, way easier than anticipated.

    Next, I need to push out the ball joints, then weld up the holes.
