Need a few answers I’m a new member: Tom50. I am replacing the evaporator coil, condenser, compressor and all tubing on my 95 Tacoma.
Before installing any of these parts do I need to add PAG 46,to each if so how much the system will be vacuum and charged with a machine just wanted to make sure before hand.
    Thanks Tom50

The compressor should include some documentation that specs out what type and quantity of oil it needs, get a clean measuring cup with fine enough graduations, (5 ml increments usually get the job done), drain all of the factory oil out of the compressor and confirm there is the right amount, pour back into the compressor, and proceed with the install.

My guess is you are replacing everything due to a complete system failure/leak. No machine needed in the case of a totally clean install like that, simply remove all the old stuff, install all the new stuff, pull vacuum for the appropriate amount of time, close valves shut off vac pump, monitor for a few hours to ensure the system is leak free, charge and go. make sure to have all protective caps in place until you are making each connection to minimize the risk of introducing contaminants.
