I might be concussed from the trails, but just throwing an idea out there.....Flatnasty next summer?

With the kiddo on the way we're looking at Feb-March for a due date (finding out for sure at our first appointment on Thursday). That rules out KenTWucky for me in spring. But maybe later in the summer it could work. Just a thought.....

Flatnasty is very tight and scratchy.

SMORR is the better park lol

SMORR is about an hour further for us northerners. Can't speak for Flatnasty, but SMORR was a really good time. I'd definitely go back.

Supported. We had an excellent time at SMORR.

Would you venture as far as calling it.....nasty?

That's been my time folks :anonymous:

In all seriousness, I only mention it cause one of my sisters that came up for the Tigerton trip drove all the way from Missouri.

She left Monday night, stopped for a 3 hour nap, got in around 7am at her place in Fort Leonard Wood and then went to work at 8am. Figured I'd meet her halfway next summer if getting stuck didn't ruin the fun of off-roading for her.

SMORR is farther but if you guys can vouch for it being a good time I'm all for it

Hope it doesn't dissuade anyone but I forgot Waukesha charges an entrance fee for their county parks. We camped at one of them last summer.

They let you pay after the visit though so I suppose it doesn't hurt to go first and see if we even have to pay.

Tight and scratchy only if there is no other option. Flatnasty is a new one to me. Never heard of it. I did have fun at SMORR. The trails we hit were challenging without freaking you out....much. There are other trails that are above ALFs' capabilities.

If I am reading this right it is $7 for the daily pass. I'll wait and see when I get there if I have to pay.

Looks like a good selection of beers

And Bennet's BBQ truck for food. Yeah, that's gonna suck.

So what you are saying is "they want me to pay them to get into the park so I can pay them to drink beer"!

Thanks Cisco for letting us know this.
I'm not driving all that way to do that,
see you guys at the next one.
