I know that the rear slider now requires an upgrade package, but is it the same size as the Gen3? I cant tell from most of the pictures I've seen.

Probably will be available as a manual slider in a while. Why not wait it out?

    No, it’s rounded so it’s a bit smaller… I don’t have dimensions though

Mine is optioned with the rear slider. It's smaller than the 3rd gens and it provides some airflow, but you can no longer use it to redneck transport some long lumber if need to be. You will break the window doing that o_O

It's smaller, but it makes sense. The back of the rear seats seam to be higher than the previous gen, and the bottom of the window is actually even with the top of the back seat. So if the window was longer, there wouldn't be any additional airflow as it would be blocked by the seat. I thought the new window looked ridiculously small at first, but I think the design makes sense.

Got it. Would probably still accommodate long fishing rods if they were covered.

Anyone else considering replacing their solid glass with the window glass? And manually opening it when needed

I don’t use the rear window much but in the summer it’d be nice. Looked around and it’s $300 shipped. Haven’t reach out to anyone locally tho to install it.

I was hoping for the full window drop. Disappointed.

I just use it for airflow and don't have it all the way open anyway, so it's fine for me.

Wish it was like 1st gen Tundra and the whole window rolled down.

I use my rear sliding window more than any other window in my truck.
