Anyone near Thornton (Denver-ish) have a Carista I can borrow?

Want to disable that dang seat belt chime. Dealerships around me won't do it for "safety" reasons. Pfft.

Anyone willing to let me buy a 1 month subscription for them and do it myself? Would also throw in a beer or two.

If that doesn't work, I bought a dog seatbelt thing so my dog won't jump out the window. I now use it mainly when I put groceries on the passenger seat to disable the chime. you could easily cut the strap off so its just the part that goes into the seat belt clicker.

Apparently it can work with the Carista app / others, which I know will have the command set to disable that chime.

Let me know if you want to borrow it shortly afterwards! Would be happy to let others break some safety regulations

 

Im not by Denver but am scooping one up on the prime day sale for $33

 

Would totally love to loop back and see which OBD scanner amongst our two works better! Let me know for sure. I might hit you up if this fails...

 

Following up on this, with the vgate icar pro and carista, it worked liked a champ. Super easy, $10 subscription (boot) but not bad.

 

Still have this with subscription for use? If so would you adjust my AC? LMK what compensation would work. Thanks.

Techstream dongle on Amazon for $30 and you should be able to do everything the Carista can do. But installing the software is a bit tricky.
