Also, the dumbest thing I’ve been pulled over for is trying to spread some holiday cheer; I have been decorating my truck on and off since 2011, and I’ve been doing it every year since 2019. I finally got pulled for the first time in Souderton, PA on Thanksgiving Eve last year; I did not get a ticket, but I always shut off all the lights between Hatfield and Bethlehem because that’s roughly where Souderton is. All of the local cops in my area are totally cool with it…

I have misplaced my Yeti and went up to the car to see if I left it there; I didn’t…



However, the skies are looking pretty threatening right now and it started thundering as soon as I took these pictures…

 

The parking lot has emptied quite a bit since I got here, so I moved the car closer to the building for when Amanda and I leave work; I am presently driving my mom’s 2013 Nissan Murano because the Taco is with my mechanic getting a new transmission…

 

the rules are simple, whether you agree with them or not. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. A wise man told me long ago, “don’t break the law while you’re breaking the law”…that should keep you out of most problems. When I look back at all the dumb things I’ve don’t over the years, the times I’ve gotten in trouble is when I broke the above statement.

 

I follow all the rules, and complain about the ones I don’t like…

I do agree that the logic seems flawed there. That said, it seems like one of those things where ideally the potential punishment incents the person to not do the crime. FWIW I've known a few people getting child support that deal with so much bullshit when the other person won't do what they're supposed oto

I do agree with the insurance statement here. I carry very high numbers on our vehicles being that we are homeowners as well.

Inflation because shop time costs more, parts cost more, tools cost more.

People generally suck at driving nowadays more than years past, thanks to cell phones for one thing.

FWIW I have 22 years incident free and still pay a decent amount, though I have full coverage.

 

So which one is it? Legally a 20 year old blowing .02 is driving drunk.

 

Sucks I pulled a 10hr day today got home a little after 630. And my shep has diarrhea let's just say it was a wee bit messy in the kitchen when I got home. My brother thankful was home and had most of it cleaned up. It's gonna be a long night damnit I'm exhausted to boot.

 

I payed that same price. When I was 19 lost my license for 6 month and had to pay the state over 10 grand. My dad always said play stupid games win stupid prizes. I learned from my mistake. Gotta pay if you wanna play.

I was referring to but really can't like both. I've done some stupid stuff when u was younger, guessing we all did. And I learned as well.

 

I ended up pulling a 12 today and told them if my dogs had an accident the cleanup bag is getting dumped on their desk. Sadly the boys held it.

I'd assume my shep got into something he shouldn't have. He pretty good at waking me uo when he has to go out so that's a plus. The boxer on the hand he's a asshole.

 

Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. No mess from the shep he never woke me up till my alarm went off this morning. Still gonna fast him today tho. Just leaving water out for the boys while I'm at work no food. Hopefully there will be no mess when I get home from work today.
