I have a crawl box so it made it real easy. Could practically Idle up. It could definitely be done without the cheater box. It's really about picking the right line. Just straddle the v notch and keep the hood level.

Here's a video one of the guys took of my run

Oh nice that's something I'd like to do to mine someday, do you have any pics of the shift setup in the cab? Did you do the install yourself?

Not my favorite job, but time to change all the oils. Truck deserves it since it always gets me home after a hard day on the trail.

Having just watched this you may want to consider going to a higher viscosity motor oil or a shorter change interval considering the supercharger and warmer climate.

Interesting video. Oil is a rabbit hole I have not gone down.

I currently do 5,000 mile change intervals. I can confirm the drain oil does smell more "fuely" then when the truck was NA. This has peaked my interest and I might send in a sample next change.

New bumper looks great man! I love the hybrid bumpers & that's nice you're getting extra functionality out of it.

Thanks! It has a few scratches in it now and I've been very happy with it.

After wheeling maintenance. A rock hit the rear pinion flange and marked up the drive shaft. It was enough to cause a minor vibration at highway speeds.

    20240728_080540.jpg

    20240810_092744.jpg

I have a spare shaft but it also had a dent so I had it retubed and made good as new. Also got a new pinion flange to install.

    20240810_092740.jpg

I'm glad I opted to have the solid spacer installed in my diff when I had the gears done. Didn't have to worry about screwing up the pinion preload and crush sleeve when putting the pinion nut back on. Just torque to 190-240 Ft-Lbs per ECGS.

    20240810_101225.jpg

    All ready for wheeling tonight!

I'll keep the old Pinion flange for a spare just incase. And will have to get another drive shat retubed.....

For future reference the 8.75 diff pinion companion flange is part # 41204-0K110

Look at that shiny rebuilt drive shaft under there...

    Drove smooth as glass.

Going to be some changes to the truck coming up. One of which is wheels and tires.

I got 1 tire mounted up to see how it looked. I think I'm going to like it!

37x12.5R17 Kenda Klever RT on Dirtylife 17X9 Mesa beadlock. Also put in the Apex RPV valve stem for fast air down.

It'll be awhile before I can officially run them. Few other thing need to happen first.

Picked up this one owner 2013 Honda CR-V for a daily driver. Has a few miles on it but it's in great shape!

The truck is officially off of daily driver duties! Now I wish I would have bought 40's instead of the 37's....
