    Hey guys.

Been driving a 2013 Durango SXT as the original driver and just totaled it. Only has 100k on it and was a solid car but moving on from her.

I’ve always like the Tacomas from 2000’s. Currently eying a 2005 Tacoma 4x4 TRD V6 6 speed manual and with 88k on it. Asking price is 16995.

I have only seen some photos of it and the body is clean as are the rims and tires (look newly mounted)

Just looking for any advice moving forward

I am a big beach fisherman and drive on Island Beach State Park in NJ often so need to have a vehicle that can get me on the bite.

Id probably buy it if its not super rusty. I sold my auto 09 with 200k for 16 so that price makes sense.

    Thanks.

I’m going to go take a look today hopefully and see what’s what.

car fax is clean and I did my own vin check via another 3rd party company and everything checks out.

I’ve only heard good reviews on these trucks.

can you fit a baby seat in access cab lol?

Frame rust. If it's lived in salt country a hammer, probe and camera to look inside boxed areas is a must

05 and 06 had head gasket issues depending on when produced

    Thanks Clearwater.

Vehicle was shipped to the dealer in February 2005 so I am going to guess it’s manufacture line date is sometime in 2004.

any idea if this is the time frame for head issues?

    thanks!

So I ended up picking up a 2019 SR5 crew cab with 15k on it.

So far I’m happy with the purchase . Had it out on the beach already a couple times and it got the job done.

Have already put rhino racks on for my rod carrier.

    looking to cap it next

Finally putting up some pics of the new Taco.

Truck has been great on the beach and looking forward to many adventures with it!

Only mods to date are the rhino racks and I took the front air dam off and mud guards.

A couple before and afters with and without air dam.

    Tight lines!
