Baja S1 Inside of a 2020+ TRD Headlight

Hi everyone,

I have a 2019 TRDOR and recently got my hands on some 2020+ LED headlights. I have the harness and everything to add the new headlight onto my taco.

I've seen some other trucks on insta and in person with Baja S1s in place of the high beam.

I really like the look of the S1s replacing the high beam and would really enjoy the mod.

Is there anything special when separating the clear housing from the rest of the headlight I should be aware of?

While I have the headlight apart are there any other little mod recommendations that I should do? (chrome delete, better LEDs, wiring)

Is this just a good idea overall?

If I do move forward with modifying the headlights I will document the process in this thread.

 

Good idea? No. An S1 is not a suitable replacement for your highbeam.
