    You might be disappointed. I just bought the wife a slightly used 2023 4Runner TRD OR....it's so much more better than my Tacoma. If I could figure out a way to make the 4runner tailgate work like a 1st or 2nd gen...so I could load pallets in the back with a forklift, my Tacoma would be gone tomorrow.

    Unless you need an open bed/tailgate setup, I'd consider keeping the 4runner....it's a better quality vehicle.
