Normal tick or ticking time bomb?

    My truck has been making this inconsistent ticking noise since 10k miles (at 26k now). It only does it under load when warm and doesn’t do it all the time. I’ve heard anything from “normal” to “probably a stuck lifter and it could wipe out your engine”. I’m trying to avoid the dealer at the moment because we all know they either won’t be able to replicate it or will say it’s fine.
