They went full scale in monitoring consumers’ shopping behavior, but they forgot it could be counterproductive since I don’t like to be monitored. Well, I know I am just the tiny number on the statistics, and the country is not cummunism yet, there are still other way to shop.

Actually, I purchased an Echo Show 10. These devices can be what you want them to be. There are ways to stop the ads for a while. I use it for my recipes, to play music, weather at a glance, a quick check of my calendar and a lot more. The Show 10 has a better sound system, and my wife likes to listen to music during the day.

New watch came in the mail yesterday. Father's day gift from my son.

Good morning! A rare Saturday away from the farm. I was up too early as well, Chuck.:(
We are meeting friends for a late breakfast at First Watch and then...not sure. But that is okay, my first "day off" in long while.
Looking out the sliders at the water...beautiful morning. Looks much cooler than the 80* and 87% humidity that is waiting beyond the glass and A/C.
Have a great day and stay hydrated!

Hi Susan and all. A member from one of the stove forums I try to stay out of trouble mentioned y’all, didn’t think I was missed much.
Repo and I both have leg or foot issues, so have not done much backpacking anymore. We did do a eight mile in trip in Desolation Wilderness last Fall though, using one of my original MSR stoves, model 9 which was their first from the early 70’s and the early, white pump which both are highly collectible. Losing interest in camping and backpacking much. Been there, done that, plus no one I used to do some trips with, are acting older than I am now at 70 or they have more physical issues than I do.
Repo pup hurt one leg over a year ago playing on the snow and a neighbor across the creek/crick, her dog jumped Repo, so his other hind leg bothers him to where he has to sit or lay down often.
I have over 80 lanterns now, up a little from the 30 I had maybe two years ago. Around 270 stoves, 20 lamps and a small assortment of other fuel powered appliances. All neatly shelved in my garage except a few displayed in my gear room.
Susan has bugged me a number of times over the years to post again.
I bought a Yamaha hyper naked bike (MT07) a few years ago and a year ago got crazy and bought a low mileage H-D XL1200X model 48 Sportster. Both bikes differ some of course, still stock except for capacity to mount panniers or luggage on them.
Truck only has around 68,000 miles now.
    Have a great weekend.
    Duane

    Morning all:

    Sue!

Good to see you back Duane, you definitely need to check in more often.

Happy birthday to the wife Harry!

A watch for Father's day Tom, thoughtful gift, I always wear one and feel naked without it. :woot:

Got the mowing done yesterday and got to try out the "66". The carb that I just rebuilt works good enough to break the tires loose without giving it full throttle and everything else carb related seems ok, need to adjust the solid lifters shortly.
Just saw a #3417 Holley listed on e-bay, not too common but they are around, and this one looks decent, do I need another carb!
The guy has it listed as 780cfm, they are 830cfm, the air horn has 3417 on it, the metering blocks are correct, and it's complete, don't know if the base plate is correct, but some other 4150 base plates will work, would be nice if it was the correct base plate though.
