Posted probably last year regarding abs issues and no speedo. Got those both fixed, making an effort to sell the truck now, however, any time I go over 10 mph, if I use the brakes the abs kicks in. I can’t really feel it, but I can hear it. The only things I’ve touched are the two rear speed sensors, so maybe one’s bad. Not sure. Has anyone else had this issue or a similar issue? How was it resolved?

The problem is I’m not even sure if it is that. I don’t have a single code, abs or cel wise… I’ve got nowhere to start. Worst case, I’ll pull the 50A fuse and sell it as a project truck.

It sounds like your having wheel speed drop out.
Could be anything from a sensor to a bearing.
You really need a good scan tool to read live wheel speed. When you find which wheel is going dead then you can concentrate on that end.
Spend the money and get it diag. You will spend a heck of a lot more throwing parts at it..
    Fixed a lot of these.

That’s the thing, I don’t intend to spend any money on it. I’m trying to sell it. The trucks already at 300k and has a bad head gasket and being sold as a project truck anyways. But I will go borrow my buddies scan tool and check the live data on the wheels just to see which one is going bad.

I had to pull the ABS #1 fuse on my dad's truck. Now he just has non-ABS brakes. I'm strongly considering doing it on my truck. I just hate the ABS light always on. He gets a C1239 and I get a C1236 but haven't gotten it in year. Damn wheel speed sensors!

I did pull it, and probably will end up doing that, but the abs light bugged me and it won’t pass inspection with the abs light on. If I can get it to pass inspection before I sell it, that’s all I really care about. No matter what, I will be selling it as a project truck though.
