Wheel bearing whistle or something else?

I have a 2015 with about 116K. I bought it about six months ago. I get a whistle sound from the front right when I'm at about 35-40mph. It's a resonate sound, like blowing across a bottle or a primitive flute. I can't hear it at higher speeds, but that might be because of road noise. It doesn't change if I steer right or left. I tried to record it but the road noise drowns it out on the recording.

I've had it to two mechanics several months and several thousand miles ago. They both heard it and said it was probably early stages of wheel bearing failure, but nothing to worry about yet. This noise hasn't changed since then. I had it back to one of the mechanics recently. He had it on the lift and said the wheel bearings are fine, but the noise is still probably early sign of failure.

In other threads, people have mentioned a kazoo noise from the door seals, but it's more of a whistle than a kazoo.

Would a wheel bearing take this long to progress toward failure or could it be something else? Any ideas will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I had a noise that sounded more like a tranny whine then a wheel bearing, no change in sound when I swerved ether direction. A set of new front wheel bearings quieted it right down. When Tacoma wheel bearings go bad they don't always exhibit the typical characteristics of a bad wheel bearing. I did both since I know if one is bad at 150K the other isn't far behind.
