He turned 10 last week. We are currently at the same level of decrepitude. We need our tasty treats.

We live right next to the Promenade. It came in strong that day. But at least it isn't like last year (so far) with the sheer amount of hail we got. Only hailed a few times up here this year.

This bike is awesome! Took it downtown, the long way. Went thru City Park, made a few laps around the pool. Old Town was packed, bunch of hippies. I blended right in.
It easily gets to 28mph, you're basically just ghost pedaling, but it still draws less energy from the battery than throttle alone. Got a few compliments at the stop lights, and a few weird looks, prolly wasn't the bike though. Made it home with around 2/3 battery left. Would recommend.

I can picture Archer, smiling with his tongue hanging out, in the side car as you drive him to the store for some Fresh Pet.

Always stop to help your fellow taco. These guys had a u-joint fail right behind the carrier bearing and the rear section of the driveshaft dropped down and disabled them. Fortunately, I had my tool bag in my little beater, which is never the case. We were able to remove the rear section of the driveshaft, have him put it in four high and make it home.

in your extensive research efforts, did you look at any folders? Thinking it might be cool to throw in the back of the truck or in the 5th wheel

I did actually. Most of them top out at 20-25mph, which is pretty fast on a folding bike. Nicest thing is the ability to step thru the frame if you're vertically challenged. Research the motor sizes vs range vs whatever you're looking for.
I admit I have to lean this one over to get on it.
I plan to get a hitch carrier for it and haul it up camping that way.

Where did you get this for $700?

I want an e-bike so I can do all my around-town stuff on it. Rather than driving things guzzler 1st Gen.

Would be a nice step to rechargeable EV without going full blown vehicle (cost and environmental factors being an issue for me).

I’d like to get some sort of way to haul grocery bags with it, if possible.

You can get a tail rack and pannier bags, milk crate for hauling stuff.
Me getting that deal is somewhat of a mystery. Not sure why Amazon gave me the golden ticket.

    So here's the story.
This was a week before Prime days.
Had the thing in my cart at $999.00.
Had a coupon for 10% off, did that, was down to $949.00.
Sat in the cart for 24 hours, I checked it periodically, trying to make the decision to hit the buy button on an unknown bike, and justify the cost when I have a bike already that I don't ride.
Next day, they added a countdown timer saying deal expires in 5 hours.
That made it difficult to say no, don't want to lose the $49.00 savings .
Waited until the timer had about 30 minutes to go, then decided, screw you and your sales tactics, keep the thing. Left it in the cart though, and went to bed.
Next morning, still clearing the crap from my eyes, checked to see where it was and they had a coupon for $300.00 off, that expired in 2 hours.
I had no choice but to hit the buy button at that price. Brought it down to $649.00.

That bike sat in the cart for 3 days, with me checking it and proceeding to checkout, then closing the window. This happened a dozen times each day. Might be some kind of algorithm happening there.

That being said, it is a great deal at $999.00. I have been nothing but happy with it and I'm hard to please.

Yeah that looks like $1299 with a $300 coupon right now.

There’s also this model from the same company for $849. Looks like it has a rack on the tail:

    The EX6 goes for $749.
Keep checking the website and Amazon, the price changes daily as does the stock. They get down to one left, then boom, next day 14 available.

Amazon is showing the P6 at $1299.00 with a $300 coupon right now. Clip the coupon and check back in a day when it drops again in price. :D
