    That's a horrible idea. What time?
    There is room between the tailgate and bumper. And they use a pretty good 3M adhesive for the mounting brackets. I had a little difficulty getting them off when I switched racks. It makes a good chase light for trails as well.

    If you're looking for strobes, I went cheap easy. Each light is programmable to one of 18 (I think) sequences, so you don't need a controller. I picked one, and then just reversed the installation when I paired them up. Four front, four rear, bright in daylight. Oddly enough, no video (slacker).

    May not apply to all on this thread as my aftermarket chase light is built into my third brake light on my camper. This definitely saved my rear end (literally) when I was first in the stack while bombing down a trail near Death Valley. Had I not had it the #2 guy in the stack would have completely lost me.
