So, the 885's will hold a 3" lift firm even with a front winch bumper? Toytec is giving me false info then..

Sorry , I should have worded that differently .

I meant you wouldn't need 886's if you went with the aluminum bumper .

I altered my earlier post .

No. I'm hydro dipping a set of 2008 4Runner wheels to put on my Tacoma. I already have a brand new set of 31" Duratracs that will be on the truck for a while. I'm just getting her ready for the armor upgrade.

    Yeah that's a long time.

I dunno, I just think it'd be a waste of money to get 884 or 885 springs now just to have to get 886's later for the bumper/winch.

If you're not running a winch you should be fine with 885s.

Very nice! You didn't want to go with the winch feature huh? I do like his alluminum option. I want to keep the lbs off as much as possible.

I got the bumper mainly for protection from animal strikes , and I am still unsure if I will mount a winch .
The mounting plate for the winch is there , and all I would have to do to mount it would be to cut out the holes for the fairlead etc , which is easily done due to the fact that it is aluminum .

Very nice! It's better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it ;)
