Utility Package 3rd Breaklight

Hey forums i need an issue resolved. My 2022 tacoma with utility package has torx screws for the 3rd brakelight, making it incompatible with nearly every single aftermarket brakelight avaliable. I want a smoked brake light but i haven’t found any that will fit. If anyone knows something pls let me know.

 

Third brake lamps have nothing to do with anything besides the cab they are fixed to. On 3rd gens, access cab have the red lamp with bulbs and the lens is removable from the exterior. The access cab 3rd gen uses the same lamp that all of the 2nd gens used. Double cab has a clear LED fixture and it’s removed by undoing nuts on the inside of the cab.

If you have an access cab, look for something meant for a 2nd gen. Or just leave it alone, stock is better than aftermarket crap.

I've been running the clear version for over 9 years, no UV degradation and still seals properly.
