    Forgot to tag you @taco_jak

Also, if you’re close to me in surprise, you can borrow mine as long as you give them back. Last tools I lent out when I first moved here disappeared into the ether.

That’s what I’m talkin ‘bout! Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for the offer. Unsure if I’ll take you up on the offer, I’m already planning on the install taking place up in Flag.. I think $17 to Amazon beats driving out to borrow them.

Thank you to everyone else for being a resource here as well. Very helpful, especially @Maxx

No problem! There is a wire loom that runs along the sheet metal on both sides, you'll want to unclip the loom from the metal before bending. I know on drivers side I've removed the battery as well but I can't remember if I've had to do that every time or not, though it certainly makes it easier.

Not sure if other install work will be taking place as well but this is another invaluable tool to have on hand. I use it for everything from aligning shocks in mounting tabs, to putting it in the rotor cooling veins to keep it from spinning while tightening CV nut, to tapping bolts out, etc. Probably in my top 5 most used tools while working on suspension.

Does anyone know if you need a permit to camp on "Rim Road" on the Mogollon Rim? I saw 3 people camping there in tents/RVs. I have a truck, a bed tent, and it is close enough to civilization to bug-out if I failed to bring the right supplies.

Anyone know of a good music shop in the Glendale area? I need to get the action lowered on my uke and a tuneup on a guitar.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
Not in Glendale, sorry, not my neck of the woods.

but if you're willing to make the drive, Carroll Guitar Repair helped a buddy of mine with a family les paul that had seen better days, and it came back nearly as good as new. That's just 1 experience, of course, but the reviews seem to support the experience, as well. My buddy shopped around before settling on these guys because the guitar was worth a small fortune, aside from the sentimental value.

No permit required recommend using the coconino mvum via avenza maps to identify allowed dispersed camping areas
Worth noting the east evens entrance to rim road is in Sitegraves NF not coconino

Removing the battery&tray seems key to gaining all kinds of access and seems like a minor inconvenience.

I’ll check out the pins but I’ll probably just have my pops bring his. He’s a retired Jaaaaaaaaaaag mechanic with all the good stuff in his red box.

I'm getting out for a weekend trip camping for the first time in a long time. Any personal recommendations for some cool spots? looking at keeping it under a 5 hour drive.

Flagstaff(and most of the high country) has highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening. Pretty much ideal camping conditions if you ask me.

Depends what you do. I vote MT for anything that isn't big rock bashing but I also only drive an AT because it was the only option.

Some desert, some sand, some slick rock, and wherever else @Supr4Lo lets me follow him in to. Not a daily driver but enough highway miles getting to/from destinations. Not a major consideration but would like some integrity in rain/snow for the few times a year I get stuck in it.

My dear friend just got a set of yoko geo m/ts and they look stout! They offer them in the pizza cutter size im looking at too.
