Definitely some strong wisdom there.........but I still think these prices are out of control.

Just a few years ago you could get a 802A F-150 Raptor for not much more than a TRD Pro Tacoma costs now.

My friends with 8' boxes laugh at me when I bring in a sheet of plywood or a load of lumber with the tailgate opened or laying on top of the tailgate. Doesn't matter the size of the truck, the ones with a larger one will make fun of the smaller one.

I would love to have a Super Duty like that, but in white.

heh…I bought the taco because she always had the superduty. It’s the 7.3 Godzilla gasser and is supremely reliable. That whole generation of f250 rates higher for reliability than just about everything else. I’m hoping my taco is 90% as reliable.

The local cops get all angry when they see me hurtling down the highway at 70mph with my children sitting in the truck bed.

I think the TRD Off-Road looks better than the TRD Pro. But both of them look better than the Ranger Raptor. The Ranger is just a little too curvy and squishy in comparison.

Funny how people’s tastes can be so different. I completely disagree on both parts. The OR with the plastic fenders are the ugliest of the bunch. Pro looks awesome with the gloss black fenders and more “hardcore” stance with the two tone roof looks good and I think of all three the Raptor looks the best.:rofl::D

    TURD versus Rupture?
Why is there any need to go there?
You're all on Tacoma World for a reason.
I worked at a Ford stealership and saw enough to say I will never own one again.
Before I left the new Rangers were coming out full of issues and recalls before they ever hit the lot. The mechanics laughed saying straight from the car hauler to the lift for repairs because Ford didn't want to stop production to fix them there. Stick with your TRDs and keep them because the new ones appear to be problematic now as well from what I've read so far.

None of these trucks hold a candle against the Datsun 620.

I'm a big 720 guy myself for no other reason than we had a king cab one when I was kid lol. I'd take a nice 720 over the equivalent Toyota 10 out of 10 times.

Living in the rust belt I have seen exactly 1 720 and 0 Toyotas of these generations in like 10 years or so though. And that 720 was very superleggera at that point lol.

Debating whether the TRD Pro/TH vs RR vs AT4X is the better looking one is like debating which Baywatch lifeguard was the hottest.

This statement would be 100% accurate in my opinion if you left off the TH. That thing with the snorkel and Chevy Avalanche bar in the back is like comparing 3 Baywatch babes to this
