If your puny bland fil-a sandwich doesn't come with a written warning of eminent death, then you aren't manly enough.

I did have to take a break after the first slider. It's not so hot it's impossible, but it's no weakling either.

It definitely opened up the sinuses.

I have not looked at the receipt, but it did seem a little higher than normal price

Don't worry. The copious amounts of cheap whiskey have already ruined that experience.

We visit my wife's cousin in Houston a couple times a year. There's a Dave's 5 minutes away on Hwy 6, I go there every time. Good stuff

I've eaten quite a bit of Dave's Hot Chicken.
I've gotten the reaper a couple times. It's pretty hot but I thought the quantity of powdered spices it's coated in gave it poor mouthfeel. It made it dry.

What do you think? Did you find this to be the case?

I have to agree. Extra hot is still my favorite, but even that one can be inconsistent. Hot and mild won't overpower the chicken.

Extra hot is my favorite as well.

I'm diabetic so I get the tenders. They still have 31 grams of carbs from the breading but they're okay as long as I eat something high fiber right before so I get the Kale Slaw and eat something like lettuce along with it. Or I make something like a protein style slider.
