Hi I have been hearing this single beep sound for the past 2 months and don’t know what’s causing it. Got it checked by a mechanic couldn’t figure it out. Anyone know what this could be? I checked the air filter and AC but don’t think it’s that. 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport. I pressed the AC fan mode but the beep wasn’t from that. Thanks. Be sure to open that file on a work computer. The company loves it when you do that.

Nuh-uh. I dont need some crazy kid with swampwater hair crawling out of my monitor screen. I don't need to use the HOV lane that badly.

Just logged into my TW account for the first time in 2024. Good to be back and glad things haven't changed.

OP the best way to do it is to upload the video file to YouTube (as an unlisted video) and post the URL link here.

I see the video now. I don't think the truck itself is making the noise, rather it might be something in your truck. I've made my Tacoma make all kinds of weird noises (o_O) and I haven't heard this one before. The beep that comes from the Tacoma sounds a bit different. If you want to hear the electronic beep, try putting your truck in 1st gear at 40mph. As other users have mentioned, these kinds of questions are posted on TW almost every day.

My advice is to remove all aftermarket electronics from the vehicle and see if it continues to make the noise. If you are the original owner, I would assume you probably know whats stock and what's not. If you bought it used, it could be an aftermarket security system, gnss device, etc...
