AC push button on dash

I have a 2005 and the dash push button to turn on the AC has a red indicator lite, I thought I remembered it being green but maybe not. Looked in my owners manual and couldn't find anything about the lite color. What color should it be if it's working properly or not. Thanks

 

Pretty sure it only has one color. Don't you have red instrumentation?

If there is a problem it may flash or not come on at all

 

If it helps, the indicator lamps on the a/c and recirc buttons are both orange when activated on my 2014. The backlighting for them is white.

 

If your AC is working properly don't focus on the color.

If it doesn't like you or the condition of the truck, it will flash.

My 2010 is orange as well.

However, some other vehicles use green. My wife's 2014 Rav4 is one.

 

My 06 AC and Recirc buttons are backlit orange but the indicator light is GREEN when I actuate them. All functioning as designed with 189k on the odo
