    Is this the way a stock OBD2 port is on the 2nd gen? Never saw one like this

    I pulled it down to show how its two connections.. I connect my scan gauge to it

    Are you referring to the Female OBD2 port? (The white one)

    No it’s not supposed to hang down like that it should sit higher up than that.

    The black connector plugs into the white one that is attached to your vehicle. It would normally connect to a HUD or display screen for constant monitoring while driving and other advanced readouts and interface.

    Did you just buy this vehicle or is it someone else’s? Or are you just now discovering this.

    Ugh. NO! Look how you have a plug that separates from the OBD2 port ( white ). NEVER saw that on any other car I own or have ever owned. Its usually the white female part that is there. WHAT is with the black connector??? The white part also has a cover for it that says OBD2. AGAIN.. I pulled it down to SHOW everyone what I was looking at

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    It's definitely aftermarket, follow the wires off the black plug and find the "magic box" and post pics and numbers on that.

    There's a ton of different aftermarket stuff that uses those OBDII jumpers like remote starts, trackers, alarms, some aftermarket power steps, etc...
