Lots of talk on the offroad, but has anyone tried putting bigger tires on the stock wheels that come with the TRD sport? I'm a noob when it comes to understanding the meaning for example ReadyLift leveling kit talks about 18x8 +35 285/65/r18 vs 18x8.5 +25 285/65/r18. I dont know where the stock wheels fall in :(

    Thanks in advance!

@DezaRyn , I'm running 265/70-18's on OE Toyota Wheels. If I remember correctly, many of the stock wheels have a -40 offset including the wheels I have on my truck. I also am running a modest 2" ICON Stage 2 lift. I will also openly admit that while I do take my truck offroad, when and as necessary, all of my mods are to improve the look, ride, and comfort.

My point is the 285/65-18's you are talking about are virtually the same sidewall and diameter as my 265/70-18's. The least amount of clearance I have with my tires is from the inside of the tire sidewall to the UCA's. You will be solving that issue with a wheel that will be moving the wheel face away from the frame. I would recommend a test fit but I don't think you will have any trouble fitting them under the truck. I also think they will look great.
