Yes, you'll have to go by the Alt Fuse with a another thick wire, and install a fuse equal to the difference between the fuse rated amperage, and 270 amps. So, if you currently have the 140 amp alt fuse, your added thick bypass wire will need to have a 130 amp inline fuse in it.

Also, know that the LIN plug faces the outside of the DC Power Engineering alternator, and your stock denso has it rearward facing, so you need about 6 inches more lin plug wire. In addition, there is no place on the DC Power Engineering alternator to mount the wire box that is bolted to the outside of your Denso alternator. It is not flat with two bolt holes. It is rounded with no bolt holes. Lastly, the DC Power Engineering alternator comes with a 2 year warranty only, which would not be a big deal if the alternator was easier to replace. It's not easy even though it is missing a place for the rear bracket to attach.

I went back to a 270 amp alternator from them and don't get the low voltage problem anymore. I did break my lin plug wire when pulling out the 370 alternator. I added 6 inches of wire to it to make future replacement easy. As for the wiring harness, its just hanging there. Its tight enough that it cant move much anyways.

How long did urs take to get?
Mines was shipped next day and I got it within a week, having problems with mines, did big 3, volt bump, volt showing 12.6. With my oem alt I was seeing 14.4. I’m assuming they gave me a returned alt, website was showing lead time 2 weeks out. They told me could be my belt but my belt looks fairly new.
