Hi guys, I'm replacing my front shocks with bilstein 4600s and am having a hell of a time getting the spring seats snapped down over the ring clip. I don't know how to do it without using so much force it might damage or destroy the part. Anyone know the right way? Thanks

Thats because they don't snap in. When the seat is all the way down it sits on top of the ring and fully encloses the outer diameter of the ring so it can't expand and come out of the groove on the shock.

That's awesome because they aren't going any farther. The install sheet that came with them makes it sound like they do snap into the groove. Thanks for your help, I'm rolling on them as is....
