I've been monitoring my voltage with a scan tool and i'm seeing a consistent 13.3 - 13.5V. Not sure if its normal as i've seen cars run upwards of 13.8 - 14.2 V. I replaced the 27F battery today to see if it improved but it didn't - it was 5 years old and corroded anyways. I've always felt this truck kind of sluggish but it may be me. Another thing is my phone charges extremely slow and the radio likes to static which seems like current is not supplied enough. Mileage 171K on original 130A alternator (tow package). Any advice? Thanks!

    Yes. That is normal.
    Nothing to worry about.

Normal voltage range for a 2nd gen, mine sits around 13.3 on a hot day and 13.5-13.8 on a cool day.

If your trying to charge your phone via the built in USB port it's normal for it to be super slow, I never use it for charging unless I forget my cigarette lighter adapter.

What does the static on the radio sound like? Is it more of a crackle or is it a buzz that changes with engine speed?

I've seen mine hit up to 14.2-14.4 volts when I had a dying/aging battery (~5 years old, positive post started bulging).

Once I put in a new battery, voltage never exceeds 13.8v.

Static. Its very little but I do notice it. My 2013 Scion FR-S with 75k miles does the same thing but worse. Bought the FR-S a week after the taco was purchased.
