I had them on my other truck. They are not for offroading but they are awesome steps.

I just had these instaled on my 2011 double cab. Be aware that they do NOT fold up UNDER the truck and disappear. They do on every truck except Tacoma. If you have had these installed on your Tacoma and they DO fold up under your truck, PLEASE let me know. I am not happy with the way mine came out. Thanks.

I've seen pics in the ads. Look OK to me. I'm thinking of getting these - please post a pic of yours.

Glad I went with N-fab if that's the case. Especially for the amount of coin.

I'm currently on vacation, driving my wife's Suburban. I'll post pictures when I get back home on 12 July.

Here are the pictures I promised. I talked to a tech rep at AMP and he said this is exactly how they are supposed to look, and they cannot fold up under the truck and disappear. By the way, they work great. They are just not what I expected. What do you think?

IMO, they look Ok but coulda been a bit longer to get to the end of the cab or at least further back, centered with the doors. Those look like they were meant for an access cab. What about pics when they are down?

User Gray Beauty has them as well on her lifted truck. I contacted her about them, and she loves them, but doesn't recommend them for a non lifted truck. Says they come down about an inch or so below where the OEM ones do, but might be too low for stock height.

They only sell one size for the Tacoma. It is for the Access Cab AND the Double Cab. Yep, it looks a little short on the Double Cab. I'll try to get a picture with it down when I can.

Here are the running boards DOWN. They are 8 inches below the bottom of the truck, measured from the lowest red you can see.

Looks very functional. My tube steps really don't help short folks get in my truck. I think these would.

Is there a switch that allows you to put them down without opening the door? I thought they just went up and down when you closed/opened the door.

Thanks again for taking the pics.

No switch. I have the rear door slightly ajar in both pictures.

Damn, those come down and out pretty far, looks very useful. I like how much they tuck compared to how much they come out. Cool functional units.

I love mine. girlfriend wouldn't get in truck without them. (4 foot 10 in tall doesn't work with 6in lift and 35in tires)

And they have a safety feature that allows you to put them down with the door closed. if you put your foot on the step and close the door they will stay down. Great for when you are washing your truck

I have them on my duramax and had them on my 07 power stroke too, on the ford they went all the way under on the gmc. Not so much but still great, they are built very well and are very strong I doubt they could take a hit offloading but for street use and ease of entry they are badass!
