I was looking at a Tactical Green Frontier King Cab with out the tech pkg no park sensors. Looks like it sold last week. Relating to this post, I would have added the Nismo spacer lift. AT tires on the OEM 16" alloys, and a GFC or other type of aluminum cap. I do like the bronze wheels on AG tho. I don't think the truck would be discounted below the advertised discount, which was 36-37. I wanted to pay $34k before fees & taxes.

Don't want to :threadjacked: but yeah the green frontiers do look good. They're just sitting on my local Nissan dealer's lot so it's not surprising that there are some good discounts to be had.

See this is what gets mi, I want to do some offroading and camping, and feel like a bed rack and a rooftop camper are worth it, with colorado the traction boards may be helpful at some point in the future with snow, if I were to get rotopax, it would purely be to bring water camping. maybe one for gasoline if ever needed. Im debating putting 25,000 miles on the stock tires before changing them out just because I'm trying to avoid maxing out the CC like most Taco owners. But hey, you only live once right?

Word. I may be springing for my largest non-house purchase ever, but I can't fathom how folks can ditch brand spanking new wheels and tires. I'll probably get a feel for what specifically I'm looking for as I burn my way through the first set.

On the build side of things, my plan is a rear seat 60 removal and building a doggo platform with storage underneath and black metal molle back wall. That'll allow two furry passengers and two mostly bald ones. Raised platform for looking out windows, and fitting a carry-on behind front seat. If I want to get extra overlandy, I could remove the 40 seat and put in a fridge or extra storage or whatnot.

I sold my stock wheels to a guy with a 2nd gen trdor for a pretty decent price, like $500 if memory serves. Helps to offset the price of fancy new wheels.

Pretty funny story. The guy had been messaging me on marketplace trying to talk me down on the price and when I wouldn't go any lower he walked. I thought fair enough I'll get somebody interested in them at asking price. His wife messaged me a couple hours later offering full price to buy them as a surprise for him for Father's day. Laughed my ass off, guy messaged me later said he liked them:rofl:

Are these stickers over the buttons? Anyone know where I can find actual backlit custom buttons for the 24s?

I drove my new truck straight to the tire shop from the dealship. Just under $1200 for a set of new Yokohama Geolander’s mounted on my OEM wheels. I was given a credit of $150 per tire for the stock take offs. So more or less half price for a more capable tire that better suited my intended use than the tires the truck came equipped with. If you’re planning for new rubber for your new vehicle, the time to buy is when you can get the max credit for for your take offs.

I'm in Canada. I went through Kal Tire. I would think just about any tire shop would offer a similar deal though. It never hurts to ask around.

The ProTech covers are so nice. I changed out my 3rd gen bezel 2 or 3 times. I put these on right away
